Second Art Expedition Congo

In February 2026, the second expedition of 9 artists travelled to the African Congo for 15 days to map the theme of poaching and the protection of endangered species. The expedition resulted in a unique collection of works that captures the artists' experiences and tells a story about the vulnerability of nature, but also the complex search for balance between man and wildlife.

One work from each artist was exhibited at the Kodl Gallery in Prague from September 7 to 27, 2026, and then auctioned online on Sunday, September 27 on the Artslimit.com auction portal. The total auction proceeds of CZK 1,622,000 go to support the Congo: Price of Elephant project and related awareness-raising activities for the Czech non-profit organization Save-Elephants, which has been working for more than 13 years to protect endangered species in Central Africa.
